In most cases, yes. The main considerations are pipework routes (which affects cost) and heat output requirements. For extension rooms, garages or loft conversions, we calculate the required BTU output and size the radiator accordingly.

Radiator size is determined by the heat loss calculation for each room — considering room size, ceiling height, number of windows, and insulation levels. We calculate this as part of the survey. An undersized radiator is a common cause of cold rooms.

A straightforward like-for-like swap typically takes 1-2 hours. Jobs requiring new pipework runs take longer depending on the route.

Not necessarily for a single radiator. But if your system has visible sludge (black water when you bleed radiators), a power flush before adding new components will protect the whole system.
